Did Assembler programming for the Research Laboratory of Automation and Robotics at the University. High School Diploma obtained in 1983 from the Mathematics High School in the city Rousse, Bulgaria. Curriculum of high school with emphasis on Mathematics and Physics followed. Specialization Course completed in 2002 at the Technical University of Sofia, subject: "Industry Standard Microelectronics CAD Software, Testing and Design for Testability of Digital Circuits. Specific Problems of Manifacturability oriented design of Analog Integrated Circuit and Device Modeling" Certificate obtained. January 2005 - to present - Designer and Research Assistant at the ЕCAD Research Laboratory at Technical University, Sofia, Bulgaria (http://ecad.tu-sofia.bg/soc). Involved in FPGA design – working with VHDL using the Xilinx ISE 7.1 development environment and Model Sim by Mentor Graphic. September 2003 – to present: At Hybrid Integrated Circuits, Ltd. - Blvd. Tzarigradsko Shose, 7th km, 1784 Sofia – Bulgaria, Tel.:(+359 2) 974 39 76 ; 974 39 54, Fax: (+359 2) 974 39 31 (http://hic.bg). Designer of Hybrid Integrated Circuits and Printed Circuit Boards. Responsible for the design of PCB and hybrid integrated circuits. Creating board fabrication drawings and library symbols, working within a defined process and working with and reviewing output with engineers (manufacturing, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer) iteratively during the layout cycle. Compiling and updating of technical documentation as well as post-processing of users’ PCB projects. Experience with PCB design flow and tools used in schematic capture and layout. Knowledge of board design and of IC design processes. In daily work following software is used: Cadstar by Zucen , Protel by Altium , Orcad i PADS by Mentor Graphic and CAM350.

1988 to September 2000 At The Systems for remote processing and networks Company, city of Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria, (now known as Karat Electronics, Ltd.) Worked as a Design Engineer in the Research and Design department. Participated directly in the initial production of electronic items such as the Izot8531M2 personal computer, the STN1847TURBO personal computer; network adaptors from the ISNET and ARKNET and multichannel STAR- types, and also of small office LANs. Gained experience in solving technical problems, assembly of PC, and computer networks design. In 1994 joined the research and innovation work of the firm. Participated in the design of following items - cash registers with fiscal memory from the “Karat” series, electronic scales, small cash registers for use in taxi cabs, POS terminals. Participated in hardware design, printed circuit board design and compiling of technical documentation, item production initiation. Concentrated mainly on PCB design – starting from electrical scheme generating to post processing after design and production supervision.
1990-1993: (part-time) Worked also at Plam Co., city of Veliko Turnovo, dealing with marketing and installation, of personal computers and computer telex adapters, as well as doing user training.
1994-1999: (part time) Worked at the SiTEM Co., city of Veliko Turnovo: computer assembly, software installation and networks design and troubleshooting. Was also a lecturer in a course for training on personal computers. This professional experience acquainted me in details with the technical specification of the SMD components application.
